Fishing
Report
7-16-10
The mid-summer fishing action has started to heat up the last 2 weeks. Walleye's are being caught during the morning and afternoon on lindy rigs or bottom bouncers/spinners tipped with either a leech or crawler. Look for these fish in 16-30 FOW. The evening trolling bite has also produced nice catches this past week, with most fish being caught on #5 Deep Runner Rapala's in 7-9 FOW. A lot of the fish being caught are in the 15-19" fish, perfect for the fryin pan...... Perch fishing has also picked up on the shallow, weed flats. Plain hooks with a fathead minnow are producing nice catches of 8-10" perch. Until next time.......
